Shiva
In different phases of my life, the Beloved takes on different forms, appearing to me as a Master, friend, lover, guide…a mirror to my own Self. When this unfolds, I am drawn to sit at the feet of the Master. To absorb His transmission into every cell of my body and to drink deeply from the fountain of unconditional love.
The consistent Master communion I have experienced is with Jesus Christ, Yeshua. It is a very specific and highly charged meeting in the Heart where there is no He or I. We are one beyond all concepts. Christ appears to me with form and without. He is both deeply personal and totally transcendent. I experience Him as the most intimate embrace. A reality of Love that is imbued with eternal bliss. Recently, I felt a shift in this communion as Christ dissolved into Shiva and Shiva became my all. I could sense how the Beloved was using the essence of Shiva to seduce the Lover, to call me deeper into the eternal embrace of nothing.
With Shiva it it is very difficult to convey what is actually happening, because truly it is the end of all happening. It is empty of all content, there is nothing to hold. There is no relationship with Shiva because He consumes you totally and all that is left is just this moment beyond all comprehension. I could not write or speak about any of this from that place of total submersion in Shiva. It is by the grace of Shakti that the energy stirs and moves itself to give birth to these words, to try and convey what is given when we melt in His arms.
By Grace, it becomes clearer and clearer that the strength of our longing and the desire for total immersion in the Divine is everything. You have to want it more than anything else. You have to be on fire for truth, God, Love. You have to burn with longing so that Shiva will come to you and take you inside of Himself.
Shiva is not interested in passive spirituality. He’s totally demanding. And that’s why when we work with the Shiva energy it can have this destructive quality. Because He destroys all of our attachments, revealing where we are clinging, holding on, hiding, frozen or limited within our story. Working with Shiva energy is taking the direct path. It’s pure non duality. But Shiva isn’t interested in our impressive sounding words about non duality or philosophising about it. He wants us to taste the Real. He wants us to live it fully and directly experience our living essence as non dual radiance.
He takes us beyond fantasy into the living reality.
He takes everything, leaves us with nothing and then gives it all back again.
This is the glory of Shiva.
This is what happens when you loose yourself at the feet of the One Master, the Guru of your Heart.
You are restored to Reality. You are born again in the light of your own Self.
You are free.
